Hi, I’m Camille👋
I’m a passionate, innovative advocate for user-centered design, delivering creative solutions and fresh perspectives for businesses and individuals.
And this is my journey from wildlife to UX
So Why Science?
Growing up, I spent hours outdoors, captivated by the natural world.
I dreamed of becoming a wildlife photographer, and biology quickly became my favorite subject. Through studying nature, I developed a deep compassion for all living things and learned the importance of patience and observation—skills that would later shape my design approach.
The Camera Girl
I often wished to capture fleeting moments with my eyes and share those stories with others. Photography became my way of expressing these experiences, allowing me to communicate visually what I saw and felt.
It gave me a passion for editing and storytelling, laying the foundation for intentional design.
Academic Journey
At the University of Toronto, studying science taught me to think critically and become detail-oriented.
My background in research honed my ability to dive deep into understanding behaviors and systems. These skills proved invaluable when I transitioned to UX design, applying the same analytical approach to users' needs.
Becoming a Designer
BrainStation was where my design philosophy truly took shape.
I learned that design is not about creating what people want but about fulfilling real needs. As a UX designer, I now approach each project with empathy and curiosity, focusing on listening and observing to let the user's story lead the design.
